HELP WITH CHILDCARE COSTS

Registering Your Child

We acknowledge when viewing nurseries it is an important decision to choose the right nursery for your child and family and strongly recommend a viewing. We welcome families to come along and meet our highly skilled team where you can spend time with your child in the rooms and ask questions. We offer an open door policy where you and other family members are welcome to call in at your convenience or alternatively you can contact us to book an appointment and receive a personal guided tour of the nursery which provides with a wealth of information.

Registration Checklist

As part of our registration procedure please provide the following documents via email:

  • ID for parents
  • Child's birth certificate
  • Utility bill within the last 3 months for proof of address

The above documents will need to be verified by a member of our nursery team during your welcome meeting a week prior to your child's start date.

Accepting An Offer Of A Place

Prior to accepting an offer of nursery place, we advise you to read and ask any questions prior to signing our terms & conditions (any revised terms & conditions supersede all previous data at the time of registration). Fledgelings fee structure is reviewed annually (or at any given time). We advise you to check the fee cost before your child is due to start.

Attendance Criteria & Regular Attendance Notifying Absence

Once your child has a place at our nursery, we will expect to see them every day in accordance with the nursery arrangements you have specifically agreed. This could be for a minimum of two days per week, up to a maximum of five days per week if your child is with us full-time. However if your child is sick, or you are going away on a family holiday, you must inform us as soon as possible, so we know when NOT TO EXPECT your child at our nursery. We will make a note on our attendance register, and get back to you if there are any problems. It is very important that you contact us about sickness or family holidays, and we would be most grateful for your full co-operation

Requesting Extra Days Short Notice

We understand that at certain times parents need flexible day care arrangements.
We are more than happy to help in this respect, so please just ask. However please note that additional fees are levied when parents need us to look after their children on days other than those otherwise agreed. Please contact us for additional information.

Notice of Withdrawal or Reduced Attendance

  • Registration fee covers administration costs and is non-refundable.
  • Deposit will be refunded when your child leaves our setting given 4 weeks' notice.
  •  If you decide to withdraw your child's registration or terminate contract before the start date, both deposit and registration fee is non-refundable.

No changes are permitted to the contracted sessions for the first 8 weeks from the start date, thereafter the normal notice period will apply of 4 weeks to reduce sessions or to terminate contract.

Leaving Report

When your child leaves our nursery to move to their next school, you will be given a leaving report which summaries your child’s achievements and level of attainment. A copy of this report will also be sent to your child’s new school, along with any other relevant information relating to your child’s educational or welfare needs. If you have any questions regarding the content of these reports please speak to your child's keyworker who will be happy to talk things through with you.
